  • Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!

I hope everyone had an amazing day with family yesterday. It is times like these that help us realize what is truly important. I spent the whole day yesterday with my family and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Today being black Friday I expected to go shopping like the rest of America is, but being a college student (poor), we all know that that extra t-shirt and sweater might be better used as rent payment.

    So in SPENDING:

1.It's better to spend time than money
2.Spend money wisely on the things you know are necessary
3.And for those who have the extra spending money...SPEND and give thanks that you have it, because a lot don't!

I hope you all had fun this Thanksgiving

  • So it's been a long time, but better late then never!

I know it's midterm madness at school and a lot of people are really stressed out. I hope you all are studying for your midterms and not spending your extra time doing something that in the end is not going to help you. Remember why you are at school. DON'T forget your GOALS. Have them in mind at all times. For those who do study like crazy, don't forget to take some time off also. Have some fun and don't over do yourselves.

Thanksgiving is coming up! Don't forget about your families, thanksgiving is not the only time to give thanks that you have them. Let them know that they are still a big part of you. Trust me they will appreciate the effort! Maybe you'll get a better Christmas present! That would definitely motivate me!

Ok well if there is anything you guys need just let me know. THANKS!

  • Hey!
First week of school starts and every one is already waiting for the weekend. People think about partying and just forgetting about the stress of life. I would like to take this time and just remind (not lecture!!!) everyone to be safe. A very wise person once told me that when things get complicated "do what you know NOT what you feel." If you are going to drink, have a DD before even leaving your house. Take care of your friends. Use the buddy system and call each other when you get home safely. Sometimes it's the most simple things that help save a persons life. Have fun and take care of yourself!!!

    Are You a Leader?

Leadership is a hard skill to quantify. There are many aspects of leadership success - from asserting oneself to inspiring others to do their best. Each person has different strengths as a leader and different weaknesses. Knowing your skills allows you to improve upon your weaknesses and take advantage of your strengths.

Your weakness as a leader is what limits your overall leadership capability. Knowing your greatest weakness allows you to notice and actively improve your skill in that area - therefore increasing your overall leadership ability.

Utilizing your strongest leadership skill allows you to best achieve your goals as a leader. Emphasizing your strengths enables you to appear as a strong and confident leader, and allows others to overlook any potential flaws.

    Your Strongest Leadership Skill is:

    Understanding
